[Academic] Presentation by Dr Timon Hilker, 21st Sept 10am

Dear Colleagues,

Dr Timon Hilker from the Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in Garching, Germany, has applied for a Reader position in our Department, via the University's Global Talent Programme (GTAP). He will be visiting the us next week and give a presentation on Thursday, 21st September, at 10am in JA813 (SUPA Room), entitled "Quantum Simulation of Fermionic Many-Body Systems", prior to an interview in the afternoon.

I would like to invite all members of academic staff to attend the presentation and the discussion afterwards, and provide feedback to the presentation and the candidate. I am looking forward to seeing many of you on Thursday.
