The Department has received an EPSRC doctoral training grant to support several PhD studentships in Quantum Technologies starting in Oct 2024. Expressions of interest in these studentships are invited from supervisors- those selected will be invited to make full applications.
Ideally these studentships should involve a contribution of 50% from an industry partner. Some can be offered without this industry contribution, but those with industry contributions will be preferred.
The studentships will be 42 months in duration. The expected supervisor contribution to a studentship is £7K. Some international fee "waivers" will be available.
Expressions of interest should include the following information :
* Project title :
* Brief project description (a few sentences) :
* Name of student (if known) :
* Contribution from industry partner :
Expressions of interest should be sent to me by *Wednesday 27th March*.
