[Academic] Industry Masterclass event at Eastwood High School

Eastwood High School have asked if anyone would like to be part of their Industry Masterclass event on Wednesday 29th May. The aim of the event is to give their 3rd year pupils a taster of various industries and careers.  If anyone is interested please can you let me know by 30th April. Please see the details below.

I hope this email finds you well. I am the Developing Young Workforce Principal Teacher at Eastwood High School.
I am writing to ask if you would be part of our Industry Masterclass event. The aim of this event is to give our 3rd year pupils a taster of various industries and careers.
We would be asking you to come along and host 2x 1.5 hour practical taster classes (the same session twice for a different group of pupils) describing what your job is like. We would like these sessions to be as interactive as possible. Last year, some example workshops delivered were:

  1.  Makeup masterclass
  2.  Personal Training sessions
  3.  Courtroom scenario
  4.  Digital Forensics
  5.  Barista skills
  6.  Radio
These are just some examples. We would very much be open to anything you felt that would fit.
The details are as follows -
Date - Wednesday 29/05/2024
Time - 8:45 - 12:20
Location - Eastwood High School, Capelrig Road, newton Mearns, Glasgow, G77 6NQ
I would really appreciate if you could attend. Please could you RSVP by Tuesday the 30th of April and please let me know what your session could look like and if there is anything I could do to facilitate your session.
