[Academic] Travel Policy - ATT requirements for non-University staff

Dear all,

Following a query from Daniel, I have an update on the use of ATT forms:

The Travel Policy states that the ATT form applies to '...any person travelling on university business and at the University's expense...'.
So if you are paying for an external visitor to travel with funding from one of your grants, an ATT is needed.

University Insurance services state:
'The ATT should be used for Strathclyde funded trips for non-staff members.

Someone within your department should complete the request. Please do not copy the guest into the request, any email confirmation should go to the University employee making the application.

Please note that the guests will not be covered by the University's travel insurance. We cover our staff/students for all University related travel and other institutions should be doing the same but may be worth mentioning to any invited guests.'
