[Academic] Memories of Nigel Badnell for Funeral

Dear all,

Gail in HR has been in touch to say that we have been asked to provide some words on Nigel Badnell's life at Strathclyde which can be read out at the funeral.
I can get dates etc from HR, but I would really appreciate if it anyone who worked with or beside Nigel would send me a few lines sharing your memories of working with him.  I will pull these together with some help from Kevin Ronald.

Please can you send this to me by Thursday 19th September.

If you have not already done so, please let me know if you are coming to the funeral and whether you can offer or need a lift.  (Catherine is on holiday next week so I will be gathering names in her absence.)

We have been told by Nigel's sister that it's family flowers only, with a retiring collection for Cancer Research UK.  She encourages people to wear bright colours to the funeral as she wants it to be a celebration of his life.
