There will be a presentation about summer project opportunities to 3rd and 4th year undergraduates on Wednesday at 2pm in GH513.
As far as I know, all the usual schemes which support summer projects in the Department (Carnegie, EPSRC, Research Interns @ Strathclyde) are running this year, with the Rank Foundation also expected to be open to applications for projects related to optoelectronics. The presentation is relatively early due to the Carnegie deadline in February. The other scheme deadlines are expected to be ~March/April 2024.
If you want to advertise a project, please send me a slide/some text and I'll advertise it for you.
Projects will also be advertised via the "Physics Summer Projects" MyPlace page (https://classes.myplace.strath.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=16846) which includes links to funding sources with additional information.
Thanks
Gordon
