Dear All,

A reminder of the semester 2 exams deadline at the end of next week (see below for what a complete exam means and where to put it).
Note, based on our external examiner feedback about previously inconsistent exam style you must use either the Word or Latex template found here:
[https://res-1.cdn.office.net/assets/mail/file-icon/png/folder_16x16.png]ExamTemplate+Check<https://strath-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/aidan_arnold_strath_ac_uk/EuCrTJZUavRNls_hKyZsHv4BC2gxMgrhpU7WBvtngIF01g?e=TblbRp>
There is an updated check sheet at the same Onedrive location, with a check line about the template.
The link is in Onedrive so there are no attachments in this email and we can update the folder if needed (thanks Ben for the idea and the Latex template).

Best wishes,
Aidan and Jacqui

Subject: Exam Paper Call Semester 2 - Due Friday 14th February

Dear Teaching Staff,

The 2nd Semester checked-examinations from staff have a deadline Friday 14th February (in 5 weeks), to be ready in time for the external examiners (EEs).
A complete exam means all of: Paper, Solution, Formula sheet(s), Check-sheet (attached) completed by exam setter and checker. All will be needed for the external examiners.
Please put all of the above files on the i-drive in the relevant "Working Folder", and please tidy any unused or old files to a separate e.g. 'PastVersions' sub-folder to avoid issues when sending to the EEs. Please also notify Jacqui and myself when the exam is ready.

The attached spreadsheet of modules was checked with the Strathclyde class catalogue and is ordered by semester and assessment type (expected S2 exams are highlighted yellow). However, if you are in charge of any teaching module with mark returns (S1 or S2) please take the time to let us know of any mistakes of responsible teaching staff etc as the next reminders will be targeted.

Note all exam papers should be “no choice”, with Section A 40% and Section B 60%. Exam font size should be 12 minimum, and consistently used throughout. Arial font is occasionally requested as an exam adjustment for disabled students so if your exam is not already in Arial you will need to change it if required. A Word exam template is attached, as is Ben Hourahine's Latex template (fonts and formatting issues that I often pick people up on become non-issues).

Many thanks and best wishes!

Aidan and Jacqui
