[EQOP] Monday group meetings June-Aug 2024

Dear all,

The next iteration of the Monday group meeting rota is now at https://strath.sharepoint.com/sites/EQOP/SitePages/Group%20Meetings.aspx

Once again I would like to thank all of the speakers for their interesting and engaging talks. I would also like to thank everyone for your participation in the meetings, supportive environment for the speakers and constructive questions and discussion.

I have a couple of requests:

Speakers- please consult the rota and arrange to swap with another speaker if your scheduled date clashes with other commitments. Please inform me and I will amend the rota. I am also pleased to hear when you can offer a 'standby' talk at short notice (eg share a new result or practice a conference talk).

PIs/ postdocs- for many reasons either Kali, myself or both might not be available on a Monday morning. Chairing the meeting is not hard, speakers get 20 min and we aim for 5 min of questions. If it's 9:05, the speakers are ready, and neither of us are present, please take initiative and get the meeting started.
