Hello,
The SUPA video conference system that the Department has used for the last 10 years has been replaced this summer.
We now have all new HD cameras, monitors and projectors. The way you use the system has also been updated.
You no longer need to:
- Use the touch panel, except to dim the lights
- Use a radio mic, as there's a new audio mixer
Instead:
- Use the Vidyo remote control to turn the system on
- Use the button panels on the desk to turn on projectors (left, white button panel), and if you're sharing content choose the source (using the right, black button panel)
- Connections for content sharing are all HDMI, and if you need an adaptor for this from your device, see me - we can help with mini-DisplayPort, DVI and Lightning. VGA now comes through the Visualiser
- How tos and other guides are available at http://<http://my.supa.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=91>my.supa.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=91<http://my.supa.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=91>
If you would like a demonstration or have any questions do let me know.
Thanks,
Timothy
