[Postgrad] SCOPE: Free beer and pizza! This afternoon!

This afternoon at 5pm, the Student Community for Optics and Photonics
Engineering (SCOPE) offers free beer and free pizza at our welcome and
information event! 

 

If you have not heard of us before, SCOPE is the student chapter at
Strathclyde for the Institute of Physics, the Optical Society of America and
the European Physical Society. Our membership and committee are mostly made
up of postgraduate students, and the events we organise take that into
account.

 

We organise visits to physics and optics based companies, networking and
social events, outreach events in the community, and seminars. However,
SCOPE will organise the events our members want.

 

Everyone is welcome who has an interest in physics, applied or otherwise. If
you're a member of the OSA, EPS or IOP then bring along your membership
number and you'll become a member of SCOPE straight away for free. 

 

So why not join us for a drink and a slice!
