The Trustees of the Thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust are offering a 
small number of bursaries of between £500 to £3,000 to undergraduate 
students  who have completed at least one year of study, to 
postgraduates undertaking taught courses or postgraduates engaged in 
research for a higher degree. This award is open to continuing 
postgraduate/research students only and not to students commencing a 
course in September 2014.

Awards may be made to students having their ordinary residence in 
Scotland and studying anywhere in the world (including Scotland) _or_ 
students having their ordinary residence outside Scotland and studying 
in Scotland.

Applications must reach the Trust _by 1 July 2014_.  This requirement is 
absolute and no exceptions will be allowed.   Every effort will be made 
to intimate the results of applications by 31 July 2014.

Students must complete an application form and personal statement and 
provide financial details.  They will be required to prove hardship and 
detail how an award would help further their education and career 
goals.  These awards cannot be used to cover tuition fees.

Further details and application forms are available from this Office.  
Completed applications must be returned to this Office _by 25 June 2014 
at the latest_.
