The Institute of Physics in Scotland Young Members group is a forum for
early-career physicists to meet and network on a regular basis in order to
develop ideas, collaborations and employment opportunities.
We are holding a series of events across Scotland this year. The next event
will take place in Glasgow at 7pm on the 3rd of April (Room GH816, Graham
Hills Building, 8th floor, Strathclyde University). There will be two
speakers from the photonics industry: Dr Christopher G. Leburn (Chromacity
Ltd.) and Dr John Mark Hopkins (Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics).
After the talks there will be an opportunity to network. This event should
be of particular interest to undergraduates, postgraduates and postdocs
wishing to find out what it is like to work in the industry.
More information about the event can be found at (IOP Scotland Young
Members' Group event)

We are also on LinkedIn (Institute of Physics Scotland Young Members Group).
