[Postgrad] 1st year PhD students - counsellors

Just realised I forgot to tell 1st year students about their nominated 
counsellors...

To see the name of your counsellor, go to your student record on SPIDER 
- see e.g. 
http://spider.science.strath.ac.uk/help/index.php/View/edit_records

Your counsellor should appear under the "student" tab underneath your 
supervisor's name etc. - if you can't find him/her let me know.

If you have not had contact with your counsellor before you should 
consider getting in touch to introduce yourself.

If you are unhappy with the choice of supervisor please let me know.
