Professor Sir Mark Waldport, previously Head of Medicine at Imperial College and Director of the Wellcome Trust before being appointed Government Chief Scientific Adviser in April 2013, will be joined by Prof Susan Waldron, Dean of Graduate Studies (Science and Engineering), to discuss his position in Government, the role of science & engineering in the civil service, science & engineering careers in the civil service and the revised Science & Engineering Fast Stream scheme.

This talk is aimed at postgraduate students and university researchers.
