Dear Physics postgrads,

The International Study Centre at the University of Strathclyde is urgently seeking a suitable candidate to teach Foundation Level Physics part-time to international students. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience alongside your studies; some of our staff are also completing PhD degrees. Further information on our centre is provided in the link below.

http://isc.strath.ac.uk/undergraduate-foundation/engineering-and-sciences

There are two Physics modules that require teaching and you will be responsible for organising the course content, assignments, practical experiments and examinations for these. Further information on these modules below.

Physics 1 This module’s focus is on embedding key principles of matter and fluids. Students will be engaged in applying the appropriate laws of physics to problem solving in these areas and will be expected to carry out laboratory experiments, analyse data and report on their findings.
Physics 2
This module will seek to embed knowledge of the principles of the subject areas electricity and magnetism. Students will be engaged in applying the appropriate laws of physics to problem solving in these areas and will be expected to carry out laboratory experiments, analyse data and report on their findings.

Each module is five teaching hours per week per term and there may be an opportunity to take on more classes as our centre continues to expand.

If you believe that you are a suitable candidate, please email your CV to MJustice at studygroup.com<mailto:MJustice at studygroup.com>.

For further enquires, please email LMiller2 at studygroup.com<mailto:LMiller2 at studygroup.com>.
