Dear Colleagues

As part of the University's EPSRC National Productivity Investment Fund (NPIF) we have funding available for Innovation Placements in financial years 18/19 and 19/10.  These placement opportunities aim to enhance the training of existing EPSRC-funded doctoral students (DTP, CDT, and ICASE) in order to develop skills relevant to the Industrial Strategy.  Applications for individual student placements should be made by the students supervisor by completing the attached application form. In the first instance the deadline for applications will be the 19th November 2018. Please note that a significant amount of funding is available and we decided not to limit the requests but need these to be justified. Applicants are encouraged to apply for what they realistically need (depending on type of placement, destination, duration and country costs).

Completed applications, along with a letter of support from the hosting organisation, if applicable, should be returned to the PGR Funding Team: rkes-res at strath.ac.uk<mailto:rkes-res at strath.ac.uk> by 19th November 2018.
