Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well!

There has been talk at a recent DRG meeting (Doctoral Researchers Group), and I am told also at the Research committee meeting, about the generation of a standard "Code of Conduct" for all researchers (PhD students, post-docs & academics).

I have been asked by Gordon Robb, and also on behalf of the DRG, to ask what your opinions may be on this, would you value the use of some code of conduct in general, what should the code cover, and what should it not cover etc.

In case you are unsure what a code of conduct may entail, attached is one currently in use by Biophysics.

If you could send a quick email with your thoughts on this that would be great! The emails of the Physics Postgraduate Representatives are as follows: lewis.hill at strath.ac.uk<mailto:lewis.hill at strath.ac.uk>, katie.mcdonnell at strath.ac.uk<mailto:katie.mcdonnell at strath.ac.uk> and matat.jablon at strath.ac.uk<mailto:matat.jablon at strath.ac.uk>

Best wishes,

Lewis Hill

(Physics Postgraduate Representative)
