[Postgrad] Get involved with theGIST (Glasgow Insight into Science and Technology)

Dear all,

As the Editor-in-Chief it's my pleasure to introduce you to the Glasgow Insight into Science and Technology (theGIST), a student-run science communication magazine and network. Run by the students of the University of Strathclyde in collaboration with those from the University of Glasgow, and the Glasgow Caledonian University, it's Scotland's biggest and award-winning Science & Technology magazine. The contributors to theGIST are mainly undergraduates and postgraduate researchers, however everyone is welcome at theGIST. At theGIST, we publish regular feature articles, news snippets, and podcasts about science and technology research for the general audience. In each semester, we also publish a printed magazine to communicate latest science and technology related developments.

 I invite you to contribute to theGIST magazine in the form of writing, creating podcasts or copyediting articles and snippets of ongoing developments related to your research. Additionally, note that contributions by research students to theGIST can be recorded as RDP credits. As the Christmas holidays begin at the end of this week, it could be an ideal time to pull up a chair and write about the research you do (or what interests you).
