"The role of Urban Form in the Perception of Density"



We are conducting an online survey as part of a research to understand how people experience density in their daily urban environment. We would like to understand how this varies between age groups, gender and other characteristics like your personality, culture, and cognizance.

For this purpose, we would like you to take part to an online survey which takes around 20 minutes; and is simple and based around sorting images of streets around Glasgow.

All the information collected in this study will be kept strictly confidential. Any data collected about you in the online task will be stored online in a form protected by passwords and other relevant security processes.

There is no compensation for participating in this study. However, your participation will be a valuable addition to our research and findings could lead to greater understanding of perception of built form. If you are willing to participate, please read the Participants Information Sheet carefully and offer your consent. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
