[Postgrad] Department of physics safety induction to be held by Zoom at 1pm on Wednesday the 16th February 2022

Dear Department of physics staff

Please find attached the Jan 2022 safety bulletin detailing safety training that needs to be completed in the next 3 months.

The first safety training is safety induction which covers the S27 form – OHS Induction Part 2 will be held on Zoom on the 16th February 2022 at 1pm. If you’re a new member to the department or have not attended the course in the last 3 years please complete Part 1 of the Safety Induction by following the link to the Health and Safety training, https://www.strath.ac.uk/safetyservices/healthsafetytraining/
in advance of participating in the online safety induction lecture to be given by John Gillan.

The training record in the department is being monitored, hence it is important to participate in safety procedures and protocols in the department of physics.

Please mark the day, date and time in the diary for the physics safety induction lecture. Zoom details with a reminder will be sent out by e-mail closer to the time.
