[Postgrad] FW: International Women and Girls in STEM day, Carol Monaghan MP Talk in PAC

A very happy new year from the Pure and Applied Chemistry EDI Committee!!



To mark International Women and Girls in STEM day on 11th February, we have invited Carol Monaghan MP to PAC to give a presentation on her work on the House of Commons Scientific Committee. Carol is the only Scottish representative on this Committee and is a former Strathclyde graduate!! We have been very lucky to secure Carole and we would like your help to make this event a huge success.



The event is being held in a hybrid model, with the capacity for 50 people to attend in person and 100 to attend via zoom. We want to offer these places on a first come first served basis and once we are full we will close registration, so please register asap if you are interested.



The event will run from 2-3pm on 11th Feb in Thomas Graham or via zoom depending on your preference. Please only register for in person, if you are actually intending to attend on the day. The link for registrations is below and will allow you to register for either mechanism of attendance:
