CALLING ALL STUDENTS WITH A PASSION FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Dear all,

With apologies for the short notice, we wanted to invite your student cohorts to submit ideas or interest to participate in  The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Student Challenge.

Students can be from all levels of study can participate

We are looking to support a student team who will develop:

  *   A project which is a student-led on campus project, such as a trial or living research, that aims to reduce carbon emissions or demonstrate a sustainable shift in behaviour within the sector.

Proposals should be on one of the following areas:

What will you win?
Prize funds will be awarded for winning project in amounts of £5,000, £10,000 or £15,000. Each application must specify the amount they require and how the funding will be used within the project.

What is the process?
The selected student group will, with the support of academics, develop a submission for the 20th June 2022. The submission will be in the form of a written application and a 2 minute video pitch of their idea.
This submission (one of 21 invited submissions) will be assessed in late June and if successful, the proposed project will be implemented by the student team between July and December 2022.
