[Postgrad] Physics Welcome Week - PhD

Dear All,

>From Monday 11th September - Friday 15th September 2023 the Department will be running a series of welcome week events. These are primarily aimed at our undergraduate and PGT students, but we'd encourage you to come along to any events you are interested in - we'd especially recommend our academic family quiz where there are prizes up for grabs!

Throughout the week there will be a number of lunchtime talks, followed by informal BYOB (bring your own butties) lunches. On Thursday 14th September we would really like to let the students know about some of the excellent research done in the department, and who better to do that than the people right at the forefront of the research: our PGR students. If you'd be happy to give a short (10 minutes) presentation on your current research and chat with our UGs about life as PhD student, please could you let us know by 11th August, including a title for your presentation.
