Hi,

Happy New Year!

Not sure if you know about Innovate UK's ICURe programme? SETSquared (basically a research/enterprise pool in SW England) are running the programme for IUK (but open to all UK) including this for PGRs and Technicians.

Rosy, who runs the programme for SETsquared would be happy to answer questions, I'm sure (although I'm not sure which of these emails will work: rj5n22 at soton.ac.uk<mailto:rj5n22 at soton.ac.uk>, rosy.jones at setsquared.co.uk<mailto:rosy.jones at setsquared.co.uk>).

Feel free to forward.

"Starting in February 2024, Engage is a four-week part-time programme to help research students and technicians identify potential beneficiaries of their research, explore entrepreneurship and start their journey to commercialisation. Participants receive expert training through two full-day online bootcamp sessions, which will introduce them to ideation, design thinking, and value proposition canvas, with further catch-up calls scheduled afterward to check in on progress. ICURe Engage is open to all research students (including those pursuing research master's degrees, 1st or 2nd year PhD students, and post-docs) as well as technicians from all disciplines who are interested in entrepreneurship as a career option.

"You can find out more here: https://www.icureprogramme.com/courses/icure-engage-feb-2024/ Please do spread the word if you know of anyone who could benefit from the programme, and let me know if you've got any questions at all."

Regards,

Tony
