Subject: Peer support sessions for those impacted by suicide


Dear colleagues,

The Suicide Safe Strathclyde project board have been working in partnership with The Canmore Trust who will be facilitating 'Safe Space' peer support sessions for anyone who has been affected or impacted by suicide. The sessions will take place in the Wellbeing Room at Disability and Wellbeing TL466 and there are separate sessions for staff and students starting on Tuesday 28th May 2024.

Full session details are on the document attached and there is also a video taken at an event on University Mental Health Day.

Staff and students are welcome to attend the sessions and it would also be beneficial if you could keep this information in mind as a signposting option for staff colleagues and students. The aim is to help people to 'move forward together'.
