[Elaine Webster]A key element of Strathclyde’s Advance HE Race Equality Charter (REC) application is the institution-wide REC survey.
We invite all staff to participate, and are especially keen to hear from Black, Asian and minority ethnic staff/People of Colour. Using the survey feedback, we will conduct a robust self-assessment of the institution, which will inform the development of a five-year race equality action plan.

Recognising outstanding contributions from academics in embedding employability within HE
[AGCAS Awards 2025]
The Department of Accounting & Finance has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 'Technology for Employability' award in recognition of its collaboration with AmplifyME and Strathclyde Inspire's Entrepreneurship For All (E4A) programme was shortlisted in the category for 'Enterprise and Entrepreneurship'.
Katrina Forbes, Head of Careers & Employability, said: “I am delighted to see the hard work of colleagues recognised in these awards. We were able to submit a number of strong applications, which shows the sector-leading work we at Strathclyde do in supporting the employability of all our students. Best of luck to our two finalists.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 24 April 2025.

During the session participants will use a real work-based example to work through the seven step process and identify key issues.
