Good Morning,

We received the below request from the Strathclyde Institute for Sustainable Communities who have asked if this information can be shared with the PGR students within the Faculty. Would you be able to communicate this the PGR students within your Department please?

Many Thanks.

Best wishes,

Hi there,

Hoping this is the right inbox for this message, but if it isn’t, I’d appreciate it if you forward it to reach Science PGRs.

As part of the Strathclyde Institute for Sustainable Communities<https://www.strath.ac.uk/business/huntercentreforentrepreneurship/sisc/>, my colleague Jan and I are hoping to start up a SISC PhD Network to engage with PhD students across different faculties working on issues related to community sustainability. We’re organising a kick-off meeting on 18 March and wondered if you would be open to sharing this in an upcoming newsletter or mailing list? I’ve added a draft blurb below if so.

Many thanks,

Alexa

The Strathclyde Institute for Sustainable Communities (SISC) is setting up a PhD network to connect PhD students across different faculties and disciplines who are working on community sustainability issues. They’re kicking off the network with an in-person meeting on 18 March, at 10:30am-12:00pm to co-create the network aims and activities.
