Dear UKNC Colleague,
The 4th International Workshop on Ultraviolet Materials and Devices (IWUMD4) will take place in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) on September 8-13, 2019.
Attached please find the second call for papers. Giving that there are increasing activities in the field of UV materials and devices, IWUND4 provides an excellent opportunity to present our latest results in this area.
Best regards
Tao

Dear colleagues, the IAC and IPC members,
We are glad to inform you that finally we've got a wonderful list of confirmed Plenary (2), Keynote (4), and Invited speakers (23) of the IWUMD4 which can be found at the Workshop web site (http://www.ioffe.ru/iwumd4/invitedspeakers.html). Thank you very much for your great help in suggesting the speakers!
We continue to collect abstracts for IWUMD4 and have made a decision to extend the abstract submission deadline till May 20th to approach as many as possible potential contributors to the Workshop topics.
We kindly ask you to remind your colleagues and push your students to submit abstracts to IWUMD4, which is expected to be very interesting and representative meeting in the field. Please find attached a Second Call for papers.
Another issue we would like to discuss with you is the publishing of Proceedings papers in PSS(A), for all contributed papers, and PSS (RPL), for invited ones (and some orals selected by the Program Committee, as well as awarded posters), according to suggestions made for the Workshop by Dr.
Stefan Hildebrandt from Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA. In fact, it does not depend on the number of papers to be submitted and is free of charge for the Workshop in case of online publications.
If you agree, we could proceed with a special Call for papers prepared by Wiley, which will be announced at the IWUMD4 web site and for all participants.
Thank you very much once again for your kind cooperation.
Best regards,
Sergey Ivanov, IWUMD4 Workshop Chair
Bernard Gil, IAC Chair of IWUMD4
Tatiana Shubina, IPC Co-Chair of IWUMD4
Valentin Jmerik, IPC Co-Chair of IWUMD4
