[Academic] IMPORTANT - Research Council Funding

Hi

I have just been informed by Finance that EPSRC are becoming more strict 
re the submission of equipment orders (orders over £3,000) near the end 
of a contract.  It would appear that not only must the purchase order be 
submitted prior to the end of the grant but also the invoice (or at 
least dated prior to the end of the grant). Until I have this clarified 
can I ask that staff be aware of this new development and ensure that 
invoices are submitted/dated prior to the end of a grant for any orders 
over £3,000.  Better being safe than sorry.
