[Academic] Library purchases 2011-12

Dear all

please find attached a list of University Library books acquired on the "Physics Vote" in the year now ending. It does not include pre-ordered books that have not yet arrived on site.

We ordered quite wisely, considering that the Science Faculty has halved and pooled the budgets of all its departments. Essentially, this means that we have a first-come-first-served system in operation throughout the faculty for acquisition of textbooks. 

If we need any more books (and I'm sure we will!) please send details to me just as soon as you become aware of the need and the book's availability.
