Dear All

I am delighted to advise you that we are now accepting bids for the next round of the Robert Cormack Small Astronomy Research Grant.

These grants enable an individual or group to promote astronomy activities for the Public Understanding of Science.  Funded projects must benefit a wider audience (e.g. public visitors, whole school) rather than the recipients of the funds (e.g. Astronomical Society, School Class or Club).

A total of £1000 is available this year and it is most likely that this will be divided among a number of awards.  Past awardees include the Shetland Astronomical Society, University of Edinburgh, and Sir E Scott School, Isle of Harris.

The closing date is 19th October 2012, and further information can be found on the attached document.
