Dear HOD

Could you suggest one person in your department who might be able and
willing to represent the Science Department by contributing to any one
of the following Advanced Academic Studies Programme.

Help is needed as follows:

No more than 4/5 half day commitments (guest appearances) to Academic
Writing in Science (flexible but March 2013 at earliest)

No more than 4 hours on Research Bidding & Design (flexible but April
2013 at earliest)

No more than 10 hours on Teaching. Learning & Assessment (flexible but
April 2013 at earliest)

The nominees would either be someone with experience in the area or
someone who has recently passed through some of these modules.

The person would be liaising with Stuart Boon the Teaching Fellow who
has the material prepared and so it is about appearing and interacting.

Anyone contributing should be given recognition thru the ADR under the
Citizenship banner.

I have made this appeal as it is important that Science staff have
the benefit of peer expertise and the Science Faculty has not engaged
in this activity as much as other Faculties.

Please help.

George
