Dear All,

Can you please let your departmental colleagues know about the lunchtime
event below where they can find out more about the Engage with
Strathclyde week.

It is relevant to those who wish to simply attend events at the Engage
week and those who have organised one of the events.

The Engage week is one of the mechanisms by which staff can make new
external contacts and hence sow the early seeds of income generation via
such collaborations.

Thanks

Tony

This information session will outline the various engagement mechanisms
that are available to support researchers and academics in their
engagements with businesses and organisations. The event is scheduled to
take place just before Engage with Strathclyde – a week of events which
aims to enhance our external collaborative partnerships.

The aim of this event is to provide organisers of events during Engage
with Strathclyde, and other interested staff, with up-to-date
information on the support mechanisms available to help encourage
interactions with businesses and organisations. It will also provide an
overview of funding available from various sources, including research
councils, Scottish Government, and TSB. Lunch will be provided at 12:15
followed by a presentation at 12:30.
