Dear All,
It appears that there are a lot of different studentship schemes running
currently and the outcomes of many of these will be known soon. In order
for the Department to have the best chance of filling studentships with
the best candidates over the coming months it would be good to make sure
that we have the fullest possible information. To that end we would like
to know (for 2014 start
1. How many /confirmed/ PhD studentships you have available to you and
under what scheme. (e.g. T1, T2, Eng D, leverhulme, SUPA, DSTL, CDT etc)
2. How many /possible/ studentships and under what scheme. It would also
be good to have any intelligence on whether funding is likely for these.
In addition we would like to know what (formal or informal) offers you
have made and those that have been accepted or otherwise.
Regards
John
