[Academic] Fwd: [acaheads] Lectures for a group of 15 visiting academics from the University of Extremadura in Spain

We are looking for two members of Strathclyde University staff to deliver a one-hour lecture to a group of 15 visiting academics from the University of Extremadura in Spain on Wednesday 25th June from 12.00-13.00 and Thursday 26th June from 11.00-12.00 (30 mins input and 30 mins questions). The visitors are from various subject disciplines but are looking for lectures based on current research within Strathclyde University. The purpose of the lecture is to give the visiting scholars the opportunity to listen to conference papers delivered in the English language, to predict content based on Power Point slides / hand-outs and to provide them with the opportunity to ask presenters questions related to the lecture input.

We also plan to have a Welcome Reception for the Spanish university lecturers at 4.00 pm on Monday, June 23rd in LT511 (Livingstone Tower) and would like to invite you and any of your colleagues from the Faculty who might like to meet these academics.
