Dear All,

I am writing from the UK HE International Unit. We are part of Universities UK and work to support universities’ international activity. Apologies for contacting you directly, rather than through your international offices. This is due to the very short notice. I write as there is an opportunity for a UK academic to speak in Indonesia upon astronomy at a British Council event, to coincide with a forthcoming partial solar eclipse in the region on Wednesday 9 March.

Flights, accommodation and internal travel will be covered and meetings can be arranged with relevant Government and higher education officials. Further details are contained in the attached document. If you would like to participate please contact linda.bong at britishcouncil.or.id<mailto:linda.bong at britishcouncil.or.id>.

Kind regards,

Joe
