Dear Academic Staff

Teaching Excellence Awards - Nominations Close 20th March

As you may be aware, nominations are currently open for our annual Teaching Excellence Awards. Now in its eighth year, the Teaching Excellence Awards (or TEAs for short) continues to recognise those lecturers and tutors at Strathclyde who inspire students and stimulate their learning. They provide the students in their classes with intellectually challenging experiences in an innovative and supportive environment. They are exemplary teachers who actively engage students in the learning process and foster a learning community. They think of their students as much more than just a number or line in their job description that they have to fulfil, but as individuals.

Students have the opportunity to nominate their lecturers in three categories Most Supportive, Most Enthusiastic and Most Innovative. There are awards for Best in Faculty and an award for the best Overall Teacher.

Nominations close on Monday the 20th of March, please let your students know.
