Dear All,

Just a reminder about OSA Europe visit this afternoon. If you already replied, please disregard this email.
Researchers are very welcome to join as well. Please come along if you have an hour to spare this afternoon.

Yann Amouroux and Claus Roll from OSA (The Optical Society) Europe will be visiting the University of Strathclyde next Monday, 27th January. As part of this visit they asked to meet with interested staff (academics and researchers) to have an informal discussion about any topics that relate to the Optical Society, from membership to publishing (e.g. move to Open Access), OSA events & conferences, to the work done by OSA Foundation, OSA work in diversity and inclusivity as well as lobbying activities. This will also be an excellent occasion to discuss what the Society does and how this fits with our work, as well as what we might want OSA to do more of.

I have booked room 504 in John Anderson from 2 to 3 pm on Monday 27th January.

I am looking forward to seeing, hopefully, many of you on Monday.

Best regards,

Lucia
