[Academic] Communication with students

Dear All,

With all the uncertainty at the moment, the students are understandably feeling very confused and anxious. Brian has just sent round the slightly updated guidelines for delivering the remaining teaching this semester and I hope you will find useful and not too onerous.

We are trying to keep things as consistent as possible across our classes to avoid any more confusion and it would be a huge help if you could contact your students to let them know what to expect over the next couple of weeks. For example, please let them know if you plan to deliver your lecture by zoom at the usual time, or if you will be putting a powerpoint recording on Myplace; please encourage them to e-mail you questions about the tutorials and let them know that these will be addressed anonymously.
