Hi Gabrielle,

How are you?

Our Head of Department was recently at a dinner in California with the Principal and several alumni. One in particular, was a successful Physics Grad and before further discussing opportunities with him, we wondered if the department already has, had or would like to have connections with him?

Dr Mark Sobey (BSc Physics, 1981) Retired: Former President, Laser & Optics Segment at Coherent Inc
He is based in the States (California and Utah)and often visits London but is unlikely to be regularly visiting campus.
He has offered his time and we also suspect he could be a mid-level donor (having previously supported Scholarships)

Let me know if you already work with him and/or would like to explore opportunities too and we can pick up from there.
