Subject: EPSRC Doctoral Prize 2015

Please draw this to the attention of your eligible PhD students

We are pleased to announce a call for the 'EPSRC Doctoral Prize 2015' funded by the EPSRC Doctoral Training Partnership. The prize funds a 1 year salary for an outstanding researcher to develop their research activities following completion of PhD studies. Candidates must have had EPSRC funding for their PhD and must have completed their PhD Viva by the start of the Doctoral Prize project. (approximately between May and October 2105.

When assessing the applications the Panel will be looking for evidence of:

  *   the excellence of the researcher
  *   the quality of the research proposed
  *   the role of the proposed research in advancing the career prospects of the applicant

Interested candidates should complete the application form found on the RKES Portal.<https://moss.strath.ac.uk/rkesportal/Research/SitePages/PGR%20funding.aspx> The deadline is the 9th March 2015.
