[Postgrad] Recruitment Events - Help Needed - RESPONSE REQUIRED

Dear All,

Thank you to those who have already offered assistance at our Advanced Higher Day events in January, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

The excellent outcome from the REF 2014 gives us an ideal opportunity to change the student profile in the department and a very good activity to start this is presented by our Advanced Higher Days.  At the moment we do not have sufficient help to run these days and are asking that you please help by offering at least two hours of your time in the labs.

There are now only two of these events running on the following dates - Friday 9th January 2015 and Tuesday 13th January 2015.  We require 6 - 8 helpers at each lab session to be held - that is two hours on each of the mornings and two hours on each of the afternoons =  4 lab sessions in total.

PG students will, of course, be paid the usual rate.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and by noon on 5th January 2015 at the latest to let me know if you can OR cannot help.

NB          Please also remember that I will be on a recruitment trip in China at the time of these events, so it is very important that enough staff are available to assist.
