Subject: Dissertation Survey

Dear Faculty Staff and Students,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Hillman Nwoko, a full-time employee and MSc student at our university. I am currently conducting a dissertation research project focused on the "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) policy at the University of Strathclyde.

The purpose of this study is to understand the challenges, benefits, risks, and experiences users have while using BYOD at university. Your unique perspectives and experiences are vital for this study.

Survey Details:

  * Estimated Completion Time: 10-15 minutes.
  * Anonymity: No personally identifiable information will be collected as part of the study.
  * Use of Data: Strictly for academic research purposes

Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time during the survey. Given we are not collecting any personal information such as name or email, once the form has been submitted, it won't be possible to identify your record and delete it afterwards.

This is an excellent opportunity to voice your opinions and contribute to a topic that directly impacts our university community. Should you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact me at hillman.nwoko at strath.ac.uk<mailto:hillman.nwoko at strath.ac.uk> or my supervisor, Dr. Ali Farooq, at ali.farooq at strath.ac.uk<mailto:ali.farooq at strath.ac.uk>. For additional inquiries, the CIS Departmental Ethics Committee can be reached at ethics at cis.strath.ac.uk<mailto:ethics at cis.strath.ac.uk>.
