Dear SUPA EC
We are currently considering applications for SUPA Distinguished Visitors and SUPA Events funding and would welcome applications from your School and colleagues.  Applications can be made for visits and events taking place at any time during the current SFC 'Continued Development' funding phase of SUPA, i.e. up until 31st July 2022.
SUPA welcomes applications for funding of events such as workshops, conferences, summer schools etc.  Events are normally held in Scotland and organised by members of SUPA, either as a standalone SUPA event, or in partnership with other organisations. The aim of this funding is to enhance the reputation of Scottish physics research internationally competitive levels through collaboration, and to provide opportunities for research students and postdoctoral researchers within SUPA to increase their knowledge and experience while expanding their networks.
SUPA welcomes applications for funding of Distinguished Visitors to Scotland. The aim of this fund is to promote international collaborations with top researchers and research institutions from around the world. As well as engaging in research collaborations with SUPA researchers at all levels, the visitors will be invited to give talks and lectures that cover latest advances in their fields, providing opportunities for research students and postdoctoral researchers within SUPA to increase their knowledge of latest trends in top level research.
