[Academic] 1st year PhD Postgraduate conference - guidance

Guidance notes are attached for students presenting talks at the 1st 
year PhD PG conference, which will take place via Zoom on Wed 19th 
August at 09.30 and will consist of two parallel sessions.

Each presenter will be allocated 15 mins - 12 mins for a talk 
(pre-recorded - see notes for guidance on preparation) + 3 minutes for 
questions.

Talks, abstracts etc. will be submitted via the Physics PhD students 
MyPlace page (link in notes).

Please submit your title, abstract etc. as instructed by 12th August in 
order that we can prepare the conference programme.

Please submit your talk before Monday 17th August in case of any 
technical issues (MyPlace will be unavailable on Tuesday 18th August).
