[Academic] Marks Return TLDR: deadline (19th May, or 5 working days after exam)

Hi All,

I've had a request for a TLDR version - but things are pretty similar to past years.
Make a spreadsheet, with the students listed in Jacqui's spreadsheet on the idrive already (or ask for one if it's not there).
Your marks return module spreadsheet should look like the attached example: the five headers in yellow should be as listed, and the final information that we need for marks return is in the boxed region. The notes on the right side are for those new to this, or as a reminder.
Only if you have an exam: fill in the check sheet, and don't worry about transferring the statistics (lines now removed from attached check sheet). Also give your final marked and double-checked exam scripts to Jacqui.

PS Please always keep an eye out for resit students as they should be assessed by exam only, not with continuous assessment.

Dear All,



Just a note that Jacqui has made marks return Excel spreadsheets in the idrive module "marks return" folders, for all of the exams so far, as well as the continuously assessed modules (in addition to all her other exam-related work!). Please let her know if anything is missing.



Exams should ideally be marked and returned 5 working days after the exam takes place, and all modules should certainly be back before 19th May (a week after the last exam) as they'll be used at the various exam boards and pre-boards and the UG pre-board is 27th May (very early) this year.



For the marks return on the idrive please use a separate Excel spreadsheet (not csv - it removes calculations), including continuous assessment, and notify myself (for all PH1**-PH5** modules) and Thorsten (PH9** modules) as well as Jacqui of when they are ready for checking [apologies to anyone who has done this already!]. We only need to return marks for the students listed in Jacqui's spreadsheet files.



An example of the kind of spreadsheet format it would be great to see (one 'sheet' only please) is attached, with statistics, and a bunch of hopefully useful comments/reminders on the right. Please always have the five columns labelled

"Surname     forename    registrationno    mark  markcode" on the left of the spreadsheet, and any submarks or other working to the right, with clear weightings etc.



I've also attached a blank marks return sheet, which should also be filled out and placed in the same idrive "marks return" folder when you do your marks return.
